So far the residency at Kota Restaurant has been about original work inspired by what’s on the menu, the original work is spectacular, filling corners of the restaurant with their vibrant hues. The massive artworks like the twin mackerel and crab are big statement pieces which need a bigger room than many of us are lucky enough to have. If you need something a little smaller I’ve just collected my first batch of limited edition prints.

The lovely people at Monkey Puzzle Repro Art in Porthtowan have produced a variety of A1 and A3 sized prints of work like my handsome crab for people who like a sturdy crustacean and for those who enjoy something more surreal I’ve got the distantly alien squid. It’s always exciting to see how original artwork translates into print. I wasn’t disappointed, the prints even picked up the charcoal dust on the squids face and the eyes truly popped!
